Terms of Service

1. Scope, operator, and contact

These terms apply to OTOZOE. The service and brand name is OTOZOE. Legally required operator details are provided by email without undue delay when requested before purchase. Contact: support@otozoe.com.

2. Service

OTOZOE analyzes representative visual and audio signals from a video selected on your device, decides whether BGM is appropriate, proposes music candidates and arrangements, and helps your browser render a finished video. Features, compatible formats, catalog content, and availability may change as described below.

3. AI and creative-result limitations

AI may misunderstand context, speech, rights, mood, or creative intent. OTOZOE does not guarantee a particular BGM, three usable candidates in every circumstance, uninterrupted operation, complete accuracy, completeness, non-infringement, or fitness for a particular purpose. Review every output before publishing, relying on it, or using it commercially.

4. Accounts and plan limits

Free includes two successful analyses per account for the lifetime of the account, with each video limited to 60 seconds. Creator is an auto-renewing monthly subscription with no trial, includes 50 successful analyses in each Paddle billing period, and supports videos up to 180 seconds. Previewing, switching candidates, and re-exporting the same result do not consume another analysis. A video rejected before AI processing does not consume an analysis. Attempts to evade limits, share credentials, or misuse multiple accounts may be blocked.

5. Your content and responsibilities

You retain rights in your original video and are responsible for it. Upload or process only videos, images, audio, performances, likenesses, trademarks, and other material for which you have every permission needed for the intended use. Do not submit unlawful, infringing, deceptive, abusive, malicious, privacy-invasive, or harmful content or sensitive personal data without a lawful basis.

6. Output video and OTOZOE music

OTOZOE music may be used only as incorporated into an output video and only within the license scope shown for the applicable plan at the time of use. You may not extract, redistribute, sublicense, sell, or provide the music or stems as standalone assets. Any track-specific notice or purchase disclosure forms part of these terms. Music-source rights, commercial-use scope, attribution, and territory must be confirmed and shown before public paid launch; until then, paid access remains unavailable.

7. Price, payment, renewal, cancellation, and refunds

Creator is displayed at JPY 980 per month in Japan and USD 7.99 per month as the reference price in English. Paddle Checkout shows the authoritative payment currency, localized price, tax, payment method, renewal date, and final total before purchase. Paddle is the Merchant of Record and processes payment and tax. Creator renews automatically until canceled. You may schedule cancellation through the customer portal; access continues through the current paid period, then returns to Free. See the Refund & Cancellation Policy. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

8. External services

OTOZOE depends on external services including OpenAI for AI processing, Cloudflare for hosting and security, Supabase for authentication and database functions, Resend for authentication email, and Paddle for billing. Outages, policy changes, or restrictions at these providers may affect OTOZOE. Their own terms may apply to the parts they directly provide.

9. Prohibited conduct

• Unauthorized access, harmful code, security testing without permission, or interference with operation
• Excessive automation, scraping, limit circumvention, credential sharing, fraud, or chargeback abuse
• Rights infringement or use of music outside the permitted output-video scope
• Use that violates law or creates a material risk to another person or service

10. Changes, suspension, and termination

We may change, suspend, or discontinue features for maintenance, security, provider, legal, or product reasons. We may restrict an account that breaches these terms or presents a security, fraud, or legal risk. Where required, material changes will be identified and notified in advance.

11. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, OTOZOE is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages arising from the service or creative result. Liability for direct loss is limited to the amount reasonably attributable to the event and, for a paid user, the amount paid for OTOZOE during the six months preceding the event. This limitation does not apply to intentional misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury where exclusion is unlawful, or any liability or mandatory consumer right that cannot lawfully be limited.

12. Minors and international use

If you cannot legally agree to these terms, use OTOZOE only with consent from a parent or legal guardian. You are responsible for local law. Availability, localized pricing, taxes, and payment methods may vary by country.

13. Governing law and disputes

Japanese law governs these terms, except where mandatory law in your country applies. Before bringing a dispute, contact support@otozoe.com so the parties can seek a good-faith resolution. Jurisdiction provisions will not override a forum or consumer right that applicable mandatory law grants you.
